The following is a collection of published op-eds, topically organized, where I take what I have learned from my research and apply it to contemporary politics. My aim in writing op-eds is to both provide a larger historical context for the public to better understand contemporary politics, and to reveal specific elements of a story that are either mentioned in passing or altogether missed in the larger public debate. In doing so, I intent to re-frame and inform public discussions rather than finding a forum for my personal policy preferences or normative values.
